Jeremy Clarkson
The tall one. Believes he is always right and, frighteningly, occasionally is.
Born: 11th April 1960
Location: Doncaster, England
Cars Destroyed: Porshe 911, Perodua Kelisa, Yugo, Hyundai Accent, Lada, Maserati Biturbo, Chevrolet Corvette, Morris Marina, Austin Allegro, Montego, Nissan Sunny, Toyota Prius and really tried to destroy a Toyota Hilux which proved itself "unkillable".
Fav Quote: "We all know small cars are good for us. But so is cod liver oil. And Jogging. I want to drive in a Terminator, not the heroine in an EM Forster novel"

Richard Hammond
The short one. Internationally renowned for his ability to ‘have a topple’ at 300mph.
Born: 19th December 1969
Location: Birmingham, England
Cars & Bikes: Hammond is a Porche enthusiast, and particularly likes the Porsche 911 (which was abandoned in the July 2007 floods). He currently owns a left-hand drive Porche 911 (which has appeared on Top Gear in the studio), a Dodge Charger, two Land Rovers, a Suzuki GSXR1000, a BMW 1150 GS, a Harley davidson, a Ducati 1098, the abandoned Porsche 911, a Morgan V6 Roadster, a 1968 Mustang and several Kit cars.
Fav Comment: (when test driving a Bowler Wildcat) I am a driving god!

James May
"Captain Slow", as he always finishes last in high speed track races and generally presents with a laconic style.
Born: 16th January 1963
Location: Bristol, England
In stark contrast to Captain Slow, May has carried out some exceptionally high-speed driving. He has become one of the very few in the world to have taken a Bugatti Veyron to its top speed of nearly 253 mph (407 km/h), or precisely one-third of the speed of sound.
